What permits?
Long-Term Residence Permit appropriate for any person who has eight years of continuous residence on the Turkish residence permit, but no more than 120 days during any 12-month time frame outside of the Country.

What kind of documents do I require?
An active, valid tourist or residency visa or permit.

What is the procedure?
Visit the E-Ikamet website https://e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr/ and fill in the online application form.
The first step is to select the “Application for Extension’ tab if you are applying to renew an expired permit or the First Application option for all other situations.
Make an appointment at the closest DGMM office and select the kind of permit you need.

You’ll need to present your tax identification number and your tax reference code 9069 to confirm that the payment is received and registered with an Ikamet card (or Ikamet tax) payment.
